Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actor, is well-known for her performance in films and television since the late 1980s. Bassett has been awarded a variety of accolades such as the Golden Globe Award and sixteen NAACP Image Awards. Her name has been praised by the media and for her television performances since the early 1980s. Her accolades include two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was raised in New York New York and fostered by an aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett relocated with her twin sister in St. Petersburg Florida at five years old so that they could be near their mom as she was divorced from their father. While in high school Bassett watched John Steinbeck's drama Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she would like to be an actor. After graduating from Yale University New Haven Connecticut in 1980 with the Bachelor's degree with a major in African American Studies, she was able to obtain an MA (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. She was married in 1997. got married to Courtney B. Vance who was an actor in the same group. Qualification: B.A. at Yale's School of Drama. granted the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in the year 1980. The school she attended was the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for students in 7th grade, Azalea Middle School for the 8th and 9th grade as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett, who plays Ramonda the female protagonist in the adventure action film I. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
